There's nothing better than "good moooorning!" greetings at DiDi's house! Bella was in such a good mood despite driving all night and arriving in Memphis around 4:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve eve.
It didn't take Jasmine long to find the ideal spot to catch up on her lost zzzz's....(I wonder where she got this idea. Hmmmm, is that Jagger or Zoe on the back of the couch.)
Since Daddy had to fly back home from Memphis on Christmas Day, we had our big Christmas dinner and opened presents at CarrLee's aunt and uncle's house in Collierville on Christmas Eve. Most of that day was spent trying to take it easy, cooking and last-minute present-wrapping. (As always.) Bella took it all in stride....eating!

This was the best group photo we were able to shoot. Especially considering Bella was waaaaay beyond ready for dinner. Crackers allowed us to take this one with not too much drama.
After what seemed like an eternity for the girls, the present-opening activities began!!!
(Inlcuding a new "Cars" movie for Avery and Bella's snazzy dress-up shoes.)
This is CarrLee's aunt, Denise (far left), her cousin, Chandler (center), who is a freshman at USC and her mom (far right). No family resemblance between the women in this family, right??!
And, of course, the most important part of the evening..... leaving Ho-Ho's snack out before heading to bed. We were told, by Avery, that Santa didn't want any chocolate, just cookies and milk. (So sorry Santa...)
