Howard Family Gift Opening Extravaganza!!

Just before Christmas, and our trek to Memphis for Santa's personal appearance, we all sat around the base of our Christmas tree and opened up the wonderful presents that had been arriving at our doorstep over the last few weeks. (It was almost too much for the girls to handle having to see those presents under the tree every day without ripping the paper off!) So, needless to say, "taking turns" didn't turn out to be much of an option.

Bella loved her book from Uncle Dave and Aunt Andrea called the "The Snow Must Go On".
She loves listening to the part about the penguin.

Avery absolutely loved her Barbies from Moms and Pops and cousins, Ethan and Riley, along with all of her clothes. This might be a sign of things to come and Avery's tendency to follow after Mommy and her love of clothes, purses, etc. (Better protect her savings account now! ha!) Barbie's clothes have come such a long way over the last twenty-something years. She's quite the little fashion-ista!

And, what was the toy for which we are truly thankful??? The one that every parent says, "how do the batteries come out?".....This year's toy was the "Talking Toucan". Thank you to Moms and Pops for what seems like hours of the toucan repeating eeevvverything that Avery, Bella, and believe it or not, Jasmine says.
(please don't take me seriously....this really is one of their favorite toys!)

We love you all and thank you so much for thinking of all of us and blessing us with such wonderful gifts. We are thankful for your love, generosity and prayers!
