Happy Anniversary to us!
It's hard to believe that we've been married 13 years!!
The great part is that we're more in love now than when we were when we met.
For the last 2 years we've gone to Eureka Springs, Arkansas to
celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our favorite place to stay is this Bed & Breakfast called "Mount Victoria"
Chris & Lisa McCants are the owners and the most fantastic hosts ever!!!!!!!!!
They are gracious, warm, thoughtful, excellent chefs and worth every accolade and honor bestowed to them. Our kudos are not the only ones. If anyone ever considers going to Eureka Springs you're CRAZY not to stay here!
This year we decided to stay in The Clayton Suite! We've stayed in the Mazaret which is so romantic but I think this is our new fav!!
Eureka is well-known for it's artists and the wide variety of creations.
We've come to appreciate the work of Sena Tidwell.
We picked up the following pieces during this trip...
This one was Britt's favorite.
This "poppy" was one of my favorites.
We both agreed that this was the perfect piece of art to use as the
inspiration for Bella's "big girl room". Because of my art history background,
we've tried to instill a love of art with the girls so it's been the muse for their bedroom designs.
Across the street from Mount Victoria was our friend, "Rudy". Take a close look because he's perched on the very tippy-top of the house.
He's a roadrunner!
A kind stranger walking down Spring Street offered to take our picture.
Britt snuck one in without me knowing it...
I was watching a street band playing that was actually quite good.
This is our favorite funnel cake stand. LOL!
If you've never been to Eureka, you've got to go at least once.
