Backyard Project

It's been a couple of years since we've spent serious time working on our flower beds and back yard. With an alley-entrance, we spend more time in the back than the front. Our goal was to get the back yard ready for a summer of eating outside and time with the girls.

Since we've been dreaming of a Mexican vacation, I came up with the "Cabana" as a way to mentally take us there every day. We can close the drapes when the Texas sun beats down in the morning and open it up at night to feel the cool breeze.

Britt spent most of his time working on the new pea gravel/flagstone walkway from the patio to the gate. Our 85 lb daughter has worn some paths through the yard where she likes to run so we were in dire need of a redo. I think it turned out great!!! Go, Britt...Go, Britt...Go, Britt!

We hope you can all come for a visit soon! We'll put on some Santana and guacamole for you!

Love,
CarrLee
